I’ve done a lot of project and program work and I wrote this article in April 1986 because I noticed that most projects fail for simple reasons.  It appeared in Industrial Engineering, Volume 18, No. 4.


The author discusses how ignoring basic, obvious principles of management is often behind the failure of a project management effort.
