A month ago I was an international traveler.
This past week I became a shut-in.
A month ago I could go out to a store and they were well stocked.
This past week store shelves became empty – not due to shortages, but due to hoarding.
A month ago I was attending as many concerts and shows as I could.
This past week I didn’t go to the Rod Stewart concert I had tickets for even though it was still held, but every other event for the next month has been canceled.
A month ago I was trying to work in more ski days before the end of the season.
This weekend Ski Resorts closed until further notice.
A month ago COVID-19 was a Democratic hoax.
This past week it became a National Emergency,
A month ago the Stock Market was at it’s peak
This past week the Stock Markets were crashing
A month ago America didn’t have enough tests for COVID-19
This past week American still does’t have enough tests for COVID-19
A month ago America’s health care system was not preparing fast enough for COVID-19
This past week America’s health care system is still not preparing fast enough for COVID-19
A month ago many workers had no sick leave so they were coming to work sick.
This past week Congress did not address that many workers have no sick leave so they are still coming to work sick.
This week we must #FlattenTheCurve
