We (My daughter Jenee and I) visited Donner Ski Ranch the afternoon of March 24, 2013.

The weather was warming when we (My Daughter Jenee and I) arrived around noon.

The runs are short, but fun. Their advanced runs are more intermediate IMHO.  It’s a family-friendly ski area.

The area first opened in 1937 when a rope tow was installed.   The lodge was built in 1947 and has that classic old ski area look (with exposed pipes).

The road up from Donner Lake is a must drive.  Be sure to take advantage of the scenic overlooks.
